Premiere: Mick Boogie f. Big Sean, Black Milk & T3, “Just The Past (nVMe Remix)” MP3

DJ and puveyor of the mixtape mashup Mick Boogie really got our attention last year when he somehow managed to make the dubious concept of a Jay-Z x Coldplay blend sound surprisingly ill on Viva La Hova. Unsurprisingly, well-executed pro bona projects like that one finally got Mick some legit work, and he’s got a brand new total rework of FADER favorite Peter, Bjorn and John’s latest album Living Thing hitting the world wide web next Tuesday, September 8th. The label gave him all the mastered stems from the Swedes’ top notch pop record and Mick threw, like, 400 rappers on there. For this track, he brought together three of Detroit’s hardest working over the originally pretty mellow track. Get two more leaks from the tape here and make sure to pick up PB and J’s album wherever you buy stuff.

Video: Black Milk, “Give the Drummer Some”

It’s been over a year since we sat down with Black Milk to talk about his workload and future projects. One of those projects was his new album Tronic, which came out in late October, and now we have the first video from it for first single “Give the Drummer Some.” Asses literally explode in it. Enjoy.

Freeload: Bishop Lamont & Black Milk’s Caltroit Mixtape

We heard beats Black Milk was working on for this mixtape when we interviewed him a while back but he definitely forgot to mention that Kardinal Offishal and, ahem, MS. FREAKING JADE (and Lady of Rage?) were on it. If you haven’t noticed we play old Jade joints every week on the Let Out, so we are pumped to have some new material. Thanks dudes. The whole tape is really good though so go get it.
