The video for Poirier’s lauded soca jammy jam is exactly like this recurring dream we have, where we’re in a house of mirrors and there are multiple versions of one dancing dude moving his foot around not quite in unison, and there is a Canadian ragga MC talking to us about Poirier. Really! Except in the dream, the ragga MC is whispering and wearing one of those creepy clear masks. Our psyches are marginally more Lynchian than this video. Even so, Toronto is crazy psychic, and Poirier is our favorite arctic-weather soca producer. Also amazing, he’s about to go on a bannnnanaaas WORLD TOUR with Face-T on the mic and Christian Olsen on drums! Dates after the jump.
