When Glass Candy’s Johnny Jewel wrote me about their last show’s cancellation, he wrote that they’re gonna throw a huge party to make up for it. And with with many a hand being thrown in the air, swigs of Maker’s Mark on stage and shared with all, vocoder-laced exclamations by singer Ida No (“we did ecstasy before the show!”), encouragement of stage invasion, loads of freebies, and Johnny and Ida showering us with good vibes (and huge balloon orbs), it’s appropriate that he billed it as a party. read more »
