We have this recurring dream about the scary demon girl from The Ring. Instead of crawling out of the television because, you know, that’s ludicrous, in our dream she crawls out of our laptop (more realistic). Then she chases us around until we wake up in a cold sweat. Thanks to We Have Band, she is now going to be replaced in our tormented psyche by oddly twitchy strangers with paint bleeding from their eyeballs. This video was apparently made using stop motion video manipulation, over 4000 still photos, and a few possibly inherently creepy people. (Via AudioPorn)

The barely year-old London-based trio We Have Band just released their seizure-inspiring, floating head-filled new video for first single “Oh!,” released on the 50 Bones label. Video: We Have Band Acoustic Session in Front of a Brick Wall

This is as good a time as any to announce that We Have Band appear in Gen F form in soon-to-hit-stands FADER Number 60. It’s also a good time to mention that we would like it if they released more acoustic songs like this one because it sounds awesome. Not that we’re not feeling the band’s usual Bloc Party-influenced emotional dance rock style, but we caught Bloc Party soundtracking a segment on some morning television show and that felt pretty weird. Hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen to We Have Band… or maybe it should. It’s a recession! Get in where you fit in.
