His remixes for Missy's "Lose Control," The Killers's "Mr. Brightside," and Gwen's "What You Waiting For" all fucking glisten, and now he has appplied his touch to Coldplay. Our official line on Apple's daddy's combo? Well, "we are not mad at them." And someone else piped up: "they have some jams." So it's not like Jacques lazarused these dudes into some new realm of being. BUT! The remix for "Talk" is shit-hot. The robot voice in the beginning that spells out "R-E-M-I-X," the vocoder chirping "talk to me, talk to me," the nice underwater four-on-the-floor, and the good sense to go all eureka! at the right time. For those about to dance to this ish, even if it's in your room, alone, with your iPod (ahem), well, WE SALUTE YOU!
