Austin: Swizz Beatz

March 19, 2007

At the end of a momentously mindblowing day at the Levi's/FADER Fort, we thought it too much to imagine that super producer/superstar/super friend Swizz Beatz would actually make it to our spot and kill minds. After all, our Yankee friends in NYC were shuttered in a deep freeze and planes were like, a trillion deep on the runway and basically not taking off. But seeing as Swizz is a hero, and seeing as heroes always come through in the end, just as the old Noise Permit Clock was about to strike Shutdown O’Clock, Swizz flew in on the wings of goodvibes to perform a short but still very sweet set of hits—putting an end to the epic journey we’ve taken to calling Snitch By Snitch West with his monster tune “It’s Me, Bitches.” And to all it was a very good night. Check after the jump for more images and stay tuned as we'll be posting more of our photos and videos from our adventures in Austin throughout the coming week.
