Heartwarming celebrity sighting on 24th street: a square-eyed Jarvis Cocker hopping into cab with his caretaker/manager, wearing a pair of beautifully beat-up brown Kickers boots. Kinda like Clarks, only a little more Euro, Kickers have been a UK staple since chavsters wore them on the football terraces in the 80s (Britpoppers caught on to them in the 90s), but the brand has sadly fallen into Joe Camel sandal hell in recent years. We've spotted the odd pair of old school original Kickers at deadstock haven Magic shoes, in the West Village. But where Jarvis gets his marvelous supply is anyone's guess.
