After your black and white photo has been in Interview and your song has been in an Apple commercial, it's easy to give the impression that you're fancy. But Chairlift up close were surprisingly young and scruffy, dancing to reggae in oversized clothes before they played their drum machine kicked up pop. They've got a light swirl, not ethereal but not thick, a pleasant middle of sharp sweetness.
