Brodinski Mix for Hixsept Spring 2010

March 03, 2010

We posted images of Derive, the new collection from French Streetwear label Hixsept late last year. "Derive" means "drift" in French, and designers Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry toyed with the very existential notion of La Vide, making a wide-open sea of emptiness their playground. Parisian homie Brodinski has made a mix for the new collection that strays a little from his usual techno vision, tapping into tunes that reflect a more soothing "introspective stroll in the universe." Luckily that translates into a cut of Zomby's mind-jangling "Godzilla," a heartwarming remix of Jamiroquai's "Spend a Lifetime," some Lil B and UK grime girl No Lay. Download it here.
