Pitchfork described this as "Dilla-esque," which is true, in that it is music. Beyond that, we don't see it. Maybe something closer to Soul II Soul if Caron Wheeler smoked mad sherm. Either way, "Slow Motion," the b-side to the "Tomboy" single, is a jam and makes us even more excited to see what Mr Lennox cooked up for the new album. NPR has the stream.
