Timo Weiland Fall 2010

July 27, 2010

Since his debut in Spring 2010, Timo Weiland has grown into a designer who uses the perfect, stately colors, patterns, and fabrics. His first season was great, really youthful and playful, but his Fall 2010 collection epitomizes a certain classic kind of New York style that comes with maturity: oversized camel hair coats, heavy tweeds, and giant scarves. You could call it "fantasy Grandpa"—one of our favorite kinds of style, in fact—in which he shows off slightly prettified versions of what we see on the backs of seasoned New Yorkers on the M11 bus. One more image after the jump.
