Sounds like Flying Lotus is scoring the video game of his mind's eye on "Camera Day," a deceptively simple piece that's circular and modulated like the old 8-bit compositions of yore. For some reason, though, we can't imagine him spending a whole lot of time with a joystick in hand these days—he popped out two full albums this year, after all, and seems like one of those insane work-focused dudes who'd rather spend most of his non-creative adult life reading books. He probably has a subscription to The Economist. This is from Pattern + Grid World, out September 20 on Warp.
