Just now we were supposed to go meet someone in our lobby. They texted us and told us to be downstairs in six minutes. We put "Tip of Your Tongue," the first single from Rome-born, London-based Mauro Remiddi bka Porcelain Raft, and totally spaced out and forgot to go down there at all. Whoops! We blame the guitar, which rises and falls so casually—virtually dripping over the track. It's pretty hypnotic and warm and just slightly dark. No surprise then that it's going to be released on Acephale very soon. Get the record here and catch Porcelain Raft's US debut at one of the few CMJ shows he's playing next week.
