We already established that Gold Panda is a great live musician, nimbly reworking his own compositions, and he continues to support that by playing live on Rob da Bank's show on BBC from their Maida Vaile studios. Starting at 36 minutes, he plays the tracks on their own, different than that Interface session where he intermingles most of his tracks. He still skitters around, elongated some samples and submerging others. Before he begins "You," he says that the track is based around a sample from an old Indian record and towards the end of the song it appears he slows it down enough to hear the original source. Honestly, it's a nice treat. James Blake also guests on the show, talking, not making music, if that is of some interest to you. (via Stereogum)
