Premiere Stream: Seefeel, “Dead Guitars”

December 15, 2010

Seefeel, an ostensibly shoegaze group, widely popular with people who were into downers in the ’90s, are back after a fairly long hiatus, with a new record on Warp, their first new music in 14 years. A decent amount of their new self-titled album (out February 1st) sounds like an ambient noise record. And then some of it feels like proper songs, a band less interested in deconstructing their guitars than building a hut made of laserbeams, oil drums and ambient chants. "Dead Guitars" sounds like both.
