Glass Boutique’s New Look Book Feels The Winter Gloom

The U.K. gets bleak come wintertime, a moody environment of grey skies and cold coastal winds. There's a silver lining in those dark clouds, though, because necessity has turned the Brits into outerwear aficionados, inventors of classic styles like the trench coat, mackinaw, and macintosh just to name a few. The island nation seems to have a cultural knack for turning lemons into lemonade, or in the case of online retailer Glass Boutique's new look book, lemons into hot toddys. What could have been just a gloomy, depressing day becomes an opportunity for beautiful photos and a nice highlight of their favorite items on the winter sales rack. Warm, cozy cotton is, of course, the best part of winter, and it's here in spades with thick flannels and worn-in corduroys. Drink up, and check more images after the jump.
