Lanvin Makes T-Shirts for the People

April 27, 2011

High and low mean less and less with each passing day, and Lanvin making cute little t-shirts is the equivalent of the French Culinary Institute teaching a course in how to cook KFC Double Downs. But that's cool! Give the people what they want. Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz took a break from designing the most beautiful one-seam dresses in the world to release these tees in celebration of their re-opened Hong Kong boutique. Their low aesthetic probably still has high, high prices, but we still feel closer in spirit than ever to a Parisian brand that's always been a bit out of reach. (via SlamXHype)
