Des'ree's "Kissing You," the "love theme" for the 1996 remake of Romeo & Juliet, was probably pretty forgettable for most people (the soundtrack itself serves as a sort of pop music time capsule with contributions from forgotten acts of the ’90s like The Cardigans, Everclear and Des'ree). Nice to know that Becoming Real hasn't forgotten the films and songs that tugged at his formative heartstrings. His spooky contribution to Des'ree's original gives the song a macabre tone befitting the greatest love story ever told.
