Urban Outfitters Schools Pratt Institute

August 12, 2011

Urban Outfitters just announced the winners of its most recent collaboration, which involved a contest within the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn. Fashion design students were put to the test when the megastore asked them to construct a jersey dress in only six weeks and then told them that a mere three of the designs would be chosen for production. We imagine things got pretty nasty, because school can already be cutthroat even when there isn't a gazillion dollar corporation involved. But out of destruction comes new life, and we're left with the beautiful designs of Sam O'Brien, Simone Kurland and Kindall Almond. A+ dudes. Shop the collection here, and see some of the runner-ups..
