Julian Lynch first teamed up with filmmaker Amy Ruhl on Lynch's video for "Seed". For Ruhl's first film, How Mata Hari Lost Her Head and Found Her Body, an animated, allegorical biography of the courtesan, dancer and spy Mata Hari, Lynch contributed five instrumentals, which draw on both Indonesian music and his own bedroom psychedelia. The 7-inch EP is available for pre-order now.
