Out this week on a 12-inch single, "Tropical Cruize" is the first official release for the San Francisco producer Xosar, who apparently keeps good company. "Tropical Cruize" is remarkable for its simultaneous easy glide and gutter vibes. Its ballast is a clean and peppy hi-hat, and that is set against a wide array of synthesizers ready to swaddle, and the occasionally gnarly drum trill. This one is out on the always outstanding L.I.E.S. label, pick it up from Rush Hour.
