Casely-Hayford’s Lower-Priced Line for John Lewis

April 11, 2012

Our favorite father-son design duo Casely Hayford has released their latest collection in an ongoing collaboration with department store John Lewis, the British equivalent of something like Macy's in the US. Distilling the Casely-Hayford look of wildly designed, but perfectly refined suits for a customer looking for more affordably-priced style, there's lot of tasteful Breton stripes and tailored sports coats, though the boys managed to sneak in a few wild prints and splashes of color inspired by the British adventurer/travel enthusiast Wilfred Thesiger. Throw in some coats by outerwear brand Cooper & Strollbrand and you've got a wardrobe perfect for tea and crumpets in the middle of the jungle, if that's your idea of a good time. Buy the limited-edition line over on their e-store.
