The dreary Chicago weather cleared up just in time for last night's edition of the Step Into The Black concert series presented by Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum and FADER. The evening began with local electronic duo Supreme Cuts spinning mellow soul tracks while the extra-fancy crowd supped complimentary Black and Ginger cocktails and waited in line to have portraits snapped in the photo booth. Headliner Jhene Aiko, who recently signed to Def Jam, came all the way from LA with her band for her first performance in a Chicago venue. The audience welcomed the spellbinding R&B songbird with open arms, dancing and shouting requests. Afterwards, Supreme Cuts kept the energy up with an additional set that went on until the venue cut them off at midnight. It was another successful night of good vibes and great drinks, and there are many more to come! Sign up for our mailing list to get in on the action.
