Though relatively obscure under her own moniker Coco Morier, LA's Nicole Morier has left a decent mark on innovative mainstream pop as a songwriter, with credits for big stars like Britney Spears, for whom Morier served up easily the two strangest and best songs on her last album, Femme Fatale: "Trip to Your Heart" and "How I Roll." Though Morier's "Hallucination" was released last year (and before that recorded by Sky Ferreira), it popped back on the scene today with a new video, premiered on Pigeons and Planes. This one deserves the second look. Her Strangers May Kiss EP is out now via Ingrid, the label Morier co-founded last year with Lykke Li, Miike Snow and Peter Bjorn and John.
