Stream: Superhumanoids, “Too Young For Love (Suzanne Kraft Remix)”

July 25, 2013

Last time we posted about Los Angeles trio Superhumanoids, they were putting a luxuriously radio-friendly spin on the angst-ridden, sweaty-palmed behemoth that is Nine Inch Nails' 1994 single "March of the Pigs." Now, they've got a full-length album, Exhibitionists, in the works, and they've asked the producer Suzanne Kraft, aka Diego Herrera, to mess with the glittering, pentatonic lead single "Too Young For Love." Aside from zero-ing in on a couple random vocal snippets—notably, singer Sarah Chernoff's enunciation of the word "ocean"—it's pretty much an entirely different track, replete with multiple sonic movements, some very funky acid beatwork and sly, video-game synth sub-narratives. Exhibitionists is out August 6th via Innovative Leisure.
