Video: Matt Kivel, “All Will Be Well”

LA’s Matt Kivel continues his low-key psych/folk hit streak with a video for “All Will Be Well,” possibly co-starring his grandpa. Also hear “Tetro” and “Double Exposure.”

There've aleady been a few really good songs plucked from Double Exposure, the forthcoming debut album of Matt Kivel—formerly of Gap Dream, Sleeping Bags and Princeton, now gone solo—and "All Will Be Well" is none the lesser, sung calmly high with layers of guitar tangling like long brown hair on a windy day. The music video follows Kivel on a fun day in LA with his dad: Beck's and eggs, a Dodgers game. Double Exposure comes out October 15th via Olde English Spelling Bee (vinyl) and Burger Records (cassette). There'll be a record release concert in LA on October 12th.
