Recently, Angel Olsen revealed a track from her forthcoming second record, Burn Your Fire for No Witness, and with it, the heightened gravitas of a full-band sound. Truthfully, the Chicago singer could probably make a flower wilt with a sly inflection of her voice, but the chugging guitars and propulsive drum beat on "Forgiven/Forgotten" bring added muscle to her attempt to wrestle with emotions on the angrier end of the spectrum, which she definitely seems to exploring in this Zia Anger-directed video for the song. And in her conflicted choreography with the faceless male other she's lyrically struggling to forgive, she also reveals herself to be a pretty badass physical performer. Burn Your Fire for No Witness is out February 18th via Jagjaguwar.
