Since Big Boi and Andre 3000 announced their 40-festival reunion tour, there has been hope that the reunion might also bear new Outkast music. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case. Speaking with Revolt.TV -- who also caught an early scoop regarding the reunion -- Big Boi put all such rumors to rest:

"No, no, no. We're just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That's all it is, just the tour. It's just the OutKast 20th year anniversary. Just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there's no album in the works."

That's the bad news. There was also some good: though he did not address the possibility of a new Andre 3K solo project, he did confirm that he's working on a third solo album for later this year. Additionally, he's readying a new mixtape for imminent release-- and it's inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones, somehow? It'll feature appearances by Common, Wale and "a couple of surprise guests." And on top of all this, he's got six more #mashupmondays lined-up.
