Stream: LIZ, “Say U Would”

Something like the mainstream R&B hit Baltimore Club fans had hoped their genre would’ve helped birth in the mid-2000s. Much credit to the Diplo camp for keeping that dream alive.

FADER PREMIERE

I honestly haven't been sure whether to root for LIZ's garish take on ’90s R&B, or against it—but whatever, I'm throwing my chips in with this new EP, her first big release after a few singles last year for Mad Decent. "Say U Would" is the second track to have snuck out, produced by Boston's C.Z to be something like the mainstream R&B hit Baltimore Club fans (e.g. me) had hoped their genre would've helped birth in the mid-2000s. Much credit to the Diplo camp for keeping that dream alive. LIZ's EP, Just Like You, will be a free download, out February 27th via Mad Decent's digi-imprint, Jeffree's.
