Listen to “Hope Building A” from Suicideyear’s Software Label Debut

Listen to the Baton Rouge producer’s new track from his debut full-length.

Suicideyear, the young Baton Rouge producer that we named One To Watch in our annual NOW issue, will release his debut album on Software, the record label run by Daniel Lopatin. That album's called Rememberance and our first taste is "Hope Building A," a visceral, flickering instrumental that makes good on his reply when we asked him last year what his wishes were for 2K14: "a lot less gimmicks, a lot more emotion." Remembrance drops September 22nd and he has a few live shows this week (including two with the Sad Boys); those dates are below, too.

Stream: Suicideyear, "Hope Building A"

Tour dates:
July 9th, 2014 - Webster Hall - Brooklyn, NY
July 10th 2014 - Palisades - Brooklyn, NY
July 26th 2014 - MoMA PS1 Warm Up - Long Island City
