On September 1st, thousands will storm the streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn, to chip, wine and grind down avenues for the West Indian Day Parade. It’s one of the biggest parties of the year and we’re pretty amped for it. So in the days leading up, we’re dropping a slew of interviews, mixes and more from our favorite icons and upstarts in roots, dancehall and soca, as well as diving into the history and culture of Carnival as only The FADER can. Click back throughout the week for the sweetest, sweatiest Labor Day pre-game we could throw, before the neighbors start complaining.
