Shlohmo Drops Seamy Old/New Video (and A Hidden Track)

They’re just waiting 4 ur call.

September 15, 2014

Two years after we first heard it, Shlohmo has quietly dropped a lush, low-fi video for his "Fuck You All the Time" remix that landed him in the studio with Jeremih, all up in your Valentine's Day and on stage at The FADER Fort. Co-directed by Austin Peters and Sus Boy, whose surreal VHS video style has come to define a lot of WeDidIt's graphic output, the video follows a simple phone sex hotline commercial conceit. Lit with electric blue light and a lot of intentionally shitty CGI, the video features a series of babes captured in B-grade fidelity while wearing Commes des Garcons and Maison Close. "We actually didn't have plans to ever make a video for the song," WeDidIt Label co-boss Nick Melons says, "But all these fan videos for the song started coming up on WorldStarHipHop and we were really inspired to make our own in that same world. We filmed this a while back in Sus Boy's studio in LA and we were just sitting on it until this week when we were bored and decided to put it out there." It's not really ever a bad time to revisit the shuddering, stormy rework, especially now that you can do it while watching scantily clad ladies slither on leather couches while Jeremih gets emotional and lip syncs along with his pitch-shifted vocals. Oh, also call the number at the bottom; it gives you directions to download a new Shlohmo track.
