VFiles Sport Plus debuted a lot of strong looks with a light, whimsical cast at their Spring presentation in London yesterday. We wanted it all. Classic sportswear silhouettes emblazoned with slogans like "Girl Power," "Downward Spiral," "Do Not Touch" and "Irritant" perfectly embodied our particular misanthropic and begrudging relationship to exercise. Unzippered denim sweatshirts paired with baggy matching pants and crisp white sports bras made us want to grab two friends and start a 3LW cover band instead of running on the treadmill. The VFiles Sport Plus men wore matching separates in crisp shades of navy, silver, and kelly green, with towels tucked under their hats, looking like our dad when he's just trying to relax. If anything, the presentation was aspirational: everyone looked happy and hot and we're pretty sure if we got our hands on this stuff we may just actually hit the gym, or at least walk purposefully in that general direction.
