When we watched Jeremy Scott's SS 15 Moschino presentation through strawberry-tinted glasses, we couldn't help but wonder how these brilliant confections would look on actual human beings. Yesterday was a self-contained universe of white-blonde Aquanet waves, candy-hued accessories and every imaginable incarnation of pink, perfectly encapsulated in a suspended bubble. But, we had to wonder, would those pink vapor dreams disappear come Spring? Would our fantasies of pink convertibles and leather suit separates and plasticine beach houses start to fade? Hell no. Because starting this weekend, a Moschino capsule collection that includes some of the most digestible runway standouts is dropping all over the place: Colette, Opening Ceremony, Super Street and Moschino.com. It's really a brilliant move, circumventing the established seasonal timeline, feeding the mouths when they're hungry: see it yesterday, order it today. Jeremy Scott is honestly on some other other shit, and we're so into it. Get into a backpack covered in curly-cued "Moschino"s, a two piece leather suit set with motorcycle details cast in the supplest geranium shade of pink, t-shirts with paper doll themes, or, just simply, the phrase "IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE BEING MOSCHINO" and you know you're about to be seeing those mirror iPhone cases just about everywhere. Cop it this weekend, because it's all that matters right now.
