Trent Reznor has shared a preview of his Gone Girl soundtrack, created with old pal Atticus Ross, over at the NIN website. In case you somehow haven't read it or noticed it in the hands of every other person on the subway, Gone Girl is a best-selling psychological thriller by Gillian Flynn about a man trying to find his missing wife, and is being brought to life for the big screen by David Fincher, director of The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Reznor recently told The Wall Street Journal that Fincher told him to base the score around "the really terrible music you hear in massage parlours," but if we heard this ominous snippet while having a massage we'd probably clear out of there pretty fast. Listen to the snippet here, and read our 2013 interview with David Fincher about how working with Reznor helps him see "clearer and better" here.
