Oakland's Adrian Marcel is coasting off "2 AM," a bubbly breakout single that fits the Mustard/LA R&B mold to a tee. But the young vocalist may have broader sounds up his sleeve. "I Get It" may be lyrically more of the similar--Some people like smoooke, some people like to draaaank--but the tight, smart guitar samples that fill the single betray the musical influence of mentor Raphael Saadiq.
