Hear Nire’s Trancy Dancy Rework of Father’s “Look At Wrist”

Nire claims Queens but has an ear for sounds all over. Her new remix of Father's "Look At Wrist" is at once totally unnecessary and weirdly hypnotizing--the ratchet and clank drums of the OG are drowned in buzzes and sweeps before cutting straight into iLoveMakonnen's verse, the BPM is bumped up a couple notches, and there's some swirly Eastern harmonizing sprinkled throughout. It's also oddly censored: "hoes" "bitches" and "niggas" are all reversed, but other profanity flies free. Not quite Awful, but not everything has to be. Nire, Jason Scott, Moneyworth, Despot and more are going up at Kinfolk tonight, be about it if you're around.
