Forget About Your Exes with Tunji Ige’s “The Ex Song”

The young Philly rapper’s latest is a recipe for surviving break-ups.

October 01, 2014

Fueling his nascent buzz, Philadelphia's Tunji Ige has returned to share a new solo effort called "The Ex Song." The self-produced track details the the 19-year-old rapper's post-breakup cleanse plan—ballin' out, cashing checks, pippin bottles, shittin' on my ex, fuckin' bitches, getting money—and meanwhile finds him fretting (already!) over the high price of fame: I'm already ballin' but this shit a different game. It's not quite as buoyant as "Day2Day," but it's got numbing Kid Cudi vibes that'll have you over your exes in no time. "The Ex Song" will feature on an upcoming release entitled The Love Project.
