"Made Me" is like "Started From the Bottom." To paraphrase: Hi haters, I came from dirt, hit the mud running, and made my life taste like gravy. Since I grew up in the country, I like this one better. "Made Me" hasn't hit hard on New York radio yet but its super-clean twinkle has lit up playlists from Atlanta to Memphis for months. Snootie Wild's hair looked PERFECT under a shower cap in the original video, which was released back in August. Now there's a remix with Lil Boosie and honorary rapper Jeremih, and its great enough to merit its own video, shot in Miami with director Mr. Boomtown.
"I really love the record and decided not to do the typical white soundstage remix video," Boomtown told FADER. "We decided to go with graffiti walls as the backdrop, throw in smoke and crazy search lights. We found a sick warehouse in Miami that gave us all the elements in one location, so all the artists had to do was show up and give a dope performance."
"The video is just about having fun and matching the energy of the record," added Yo Gotti, who signed Snootie to his Epic imprint, CMG, in 2013. "Kicking it with Boosie and Jeremih and of course big bruh Gotti out in Miami was fun," Snootie added. "I hope my fans love it."
