Tumblr is entering that tricky arena of corporate merch, with a series of artist-designed T-shirts and objects, the proceeds of which will be donated to a non-profit that fights for net neutrality. In addition to a straightforward output of shirts, hats, pins, and totes featuring the Tumblr "t," each month will bring a special edition shirt designed by an artist well-known in the Tumblr sphere. The first month's offering comes from Hong Kong-based artist Cindy Suen and features a cascade of cartoonish graphics that look straight out of the Katamari Damacy universe. There's also some damn cute cactuses, but they're already sold out 😔.
