Watch Yung Lean’s Creepy, Witch House-Esque “Volt” Video

The track is off the teenage Sad Boy’s debut album.

There's a fan made video collage for Yung Lean's "VOLT," a song from his debut album, Unknown Memory, that opens with a slow-spinning graphic of water bottle, which morphs into a soupy mash-up of Internet imagery as soon as the song's dark, beguiling beat picks up. It's an adequate visual for the song and resembles something one of the young creatives in the Sad Boys orbit might have schemed up themselves during a late-night iced tea binge. The official video for the track feels even more on-brand: falling somewhere between the deranged, homemade simplicity of his earlier videos and the stylish sheen of his newer ones, "Volt" flashes between shots of the 17-year-old Lean—dressed in ripped jeans, a motocross shirt, and a carnation-pink Ed Hardy cap—and creepy images of a dancer with a Sims-like version of Yung Lean's face superimposed on their body. This December, Sad Boys are touring North America with their Swedish homies Gravity Boys; check out those dates below.
