Sometimes Young Thug sounds crazy, and sometimes he sounds crazy. "Down On That" falls under the latter designation: Thugger raps like a manic Batman villain cackling through his latest master plan, but Gucci Mane saves the day with a cruising verse that, ironically, restores order. A nigga told me he was scared for me, I told him "get your shit together," Gucci rapped this at some point before he got locked up, and the verse now lives on a Cassius Jay beat that that rumbles and wails without a break.
