S-Type And Yung Gud Have Made The Sonic Equivalent Of The Fire Emoji

Of course it’s called “Fire,” and it’s coming soon on LuckyMe.

LuckyMe mainstay S-Type doesn't mess around. When he's making a track, he's making a track. Last summer, there was the anthem that nearly made it onto Drake's NWTS, and now, the Glaswegian producer's teamed up with Sad Boy's Yung Gud for this burner from his forthcoming, club-ready EP, SV8. "Fire" comes on like an electrical storm: drums like thunder, kicks like lightning. It's one to rage to, for sure. "I met Yung Gud at a Sad Boys show in Glasgow last year," S-Type told The FADER. "We'd already spoke about working on a song together, so I asked if he wanted to be part of this club record I was doing for LuckyMe. A couple weeks later. he sent some drums for me to do my thing with. I did the soundtrack for Astrid Anderson's FW15 show, and opened with this one." LuckyMe will release SV8 on February 9th.
