Detroit kid-turned-grownup Jimmy Edgar's Ultramajic label has released some extremely enjoyable dance music over the past few years; their latest release is a four-tracker from Chambray, Work That, which drops today on the label. Lead cut "Anew" is a vocal-skipping track that practically demands to get a heavy workout on a nice soundsystem. "I knew going into the making Work That it needed to be BIG and live up to the shadow of my first release on the label titled Rub," Chambray told FADER in an email. "It's very important to always have a solid follow up, especially when your first record really hits. I experimented with some new sounds and arrangements for this record, which gave the each track it's own unique feel. The EP has a good mixture for everyone and I'm very pleased with how it turned out."
