Heems And Dev Hynes Split Heartache On “Home”

Heems is known as a bit of a goofball, and is loved or hated for it depending on where you fall. But somber streaks are bubbling up on his upcoming solo LP Eat, Pray, Thug. "Home" is heavy, a scribbled recounting of relationships gone awry and old habits that are hard to kick: You addicted to the H-Man, I'm addicted to the H, man. Dev Hynes handles production and guides Heems well as he sulks towards a hilarious "Ignition (Remix)" reference in verse three. Maybe that's the bit he wrote while he was still at Wesleyan.
