R I T U A L's "Amnesia" is a subtle, understated R&B-leaning tune, which means there's some room for extra contributions—and that's exactly what happens on this remix, which features a verse from Bishop Nehru. "The song is about fighting to escape memories, to escape the chaos of a heartache that won't let you sleep at night," R I T U A L told FADER in an email. "It's inspired by Charlie Kaufman's Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind screenplay - the idea that if we could pay to remove people from our minds and memories we would all have someone we wish we could 'delete'."
