Human cartoon character Guy Fieri got some pretty great publicity last month when Drake name-checked him on his 17-track project, If You're Reading This It's Too Late. "Fieri, I'm in the kitchen, I'm a magician," Drizzy rapped on "6 Man." The love is not lost on Fieri. The Flavortown Mayor, whose relationship with Drake began two years ago when the pair teamed up during a Toronto fundraiser, realizes what an honor it is to be mentioned by Drake. "It was a total surprise," Fieri said in an interview with First We Feast. "I'm still getting a big grin out of that one. Drake's an awesome guy. I love his music and energy." He also returned the compliment to Drake, vouching for the 6 God's cooking skills. "The guy has got skills in the kitchen, he really does. He has an appreciation for great food. It was quite a moment for me to get that name drop." At this point, maybe the pair can hug it on on a future episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
