If you've already rinsed Kendrick Lamar's new album To Pimp A Butterfly, you've heard the line on "Hood Politics" where he takes hip-hop's detractors (and, maybe, the genre's buying public in general) to task: Critics want to mention that they miss when hip hop was rappin'/ Motherfucker if you did, then Killer Mike'd be platinum. Not false! And Killer Mike was honored by the mention:
