Zimmer Takes Us Back To 1990s Chicago With “Saturday Love”

Hear the French producer’s latest piano house collaboration with Pallace

March 16, 2015

There's nothing quite as satisfying as a good honky-tonk piano house track, and with "Saturday Love," Parisian producer Zimmer is bringing back those classic Chicago vibes and block chords in a big way. A collaboration with fellow Frenchman Pallace, "Saturday Love" nails that perfect trifecta of filtered pads, deep bassline, and a catchy vocal loop that's perfect for singing your lungs out to on the dancefloor.

"I've always been a fan of piano house. "Saturday Love" is our homage to the genre, but with a modern twist. I brought the dreamy breakdowns and modern production and Pallace is house roots," Zimmer told the FADER in an email. "It's a fun and playful track, and we're really excited to share it after playing it in our DJ sets for the past months." Take a listen below and start your morning off right.
