Kid Ink And DeJ Loaf Premiere The Shadowy Video For “Be Real”

Let’s just be honest, let’s just be real.

At the moment, Kid Ink's ability to facilitate radio hits is unmatched—which is none more evident on his new LP Full Speed, which was bolstered by a number of topline guests, including Chris Brown, R. Kelly, Usher, Tinashe, Migos, Trey Songz, Young Thug, and DeJ Loaf. Today his collaboration with DeJ, "Be Real," gets an official video. It's a shadowy and vaguely vampirish affair—flickering altar candles and television screens, and for some reason a blood-smeared near-naked woman—making for a compelling visual for a song that, as Kid Ink tells FADER, has organically broken as a hit. "'Be Real' wasn't intended to be the next single but the response when the album dropped was overwhelming—the people made it a single," he says. Check it out above.
